Trevor Waugh is an internationally renowned and highly regarded British fine artist living in Wiltshire England. Working in mainly watercolour and oils, and occasionally in mixed media, his paintings can be found in many private and royal collections around the world. Trevor works in an impressionistic, loose artistic style that brings light and life to his chosen subjects. His topics are diverse and genres include Portrait, Landscape, Flowers, Figurative, Street scenes and scenes from the Middle East.
Studying at the The Slade School of Fine Art in the early 70s some of Trevor’s early work was shown at the Young Contemporaries Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts and the Collegiate Theatre UCL. Following his graduation from The Slade School of Fine Art Trevor moved on to study illustration at Croydon College of Art where he obtained a distinction before embarking on a highly successful artistic career that involved worldwide travel.
Trevor enthusiastically entertained over 40 members and encouraged them to paint along to explore the possibilities on creating colourful lights and colourful darks in water colour using the three primary colours : - Rose Madder / Cobalt Blue / Burnt Sienna.
